Why the resume?

The accusations are horrid. He’s caught, he will get due process and if guilty, go to prison, hopefully.

Hopefully, no further children involved and no further harm to the cause of Christ will come of it.

peace to you

Yep - too much unnecessary info ...

I know that is a response many think -
BUT if the penalty was death for child molestation,
then there is nothing stopping the criminal from killing the child.
I am against the death penalty, personally.

If someone is molesting children, they are already seriously mentally ill. I doubt they think about punishment, but maybe in some cases

If the death penalty is an option, they might be more willing to cooperate to avoid it.

From the few times I've sat in court, I can't say I got the feeling that many criminals thinks about the penalties, either through mental illness, substance abuse, or plain incompetence.

How long do you suppose before he is let out do you think:rolleyes:

I know one in Pennsylvania who got out of prison then went into a poor working class community, joined a church and then targeted their kids.

I guess it depends on the law in Indiana. Hopefully, the child will seek counseling to help him cope with the abuse.

….
how could a christian not believe in the death penalty ?
I don’t believe Christians should support the death penalty, though clearly scripture allows the government to use the death penalty.

I’d be happy to discuss it with you if you want to start another thread.

Please do... it is a subject that Christians should be clear on!
