Pelosi says we are all hypocrites

The wall will cost about $22 billion dollars.
The US trades $557 billion worth of goods with Mexico per year with a $71 billion deficit.

If we pass a 2% tax on Mexican imports, we will generate $6.28 billion per year in money from Mexico to pay for the wall, or $25 billion in just 4 years. (A 1000 mile long wall will not be built in a year no matter what!)

As an alternative, the US gives away $43 billion per year in foreign military and economic aid. Cut "welfare" for foreign governments by 50% and pay for the wall in 1 year!

It isn't the cost, it is what we are spending our money on.

I used to live in Wisconsin and my Congressional Rep, Tammy Baldwin and I were like that. In any issue that came up, I could be assured that she would be directly opposite of my viewpoint.
