Pelosi wants to investigate critics of mosque!

Dictator-for-life Nancy Pelosi's words:

"There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque is being funded," she said. "How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we've been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City."

Some were sooooo worried about the following position many of us hold:

Even though we affirm that the Muslims have the right to build...that it is in bad form to do so.

The "enlightened ones" reminded us of how we are somehow 'against private property rights.'

So, we mentioned the Greek Orthodox Church, and its monumental difficulties in getting anything done (as opposed to the fast-tracking of the Mosque). That bit of info was summarily ignored.

And now, we come to this: Pelosi, an anti-American, freedom-hating, horribly unqualified, dangerous and evil politician who cares nothing for her country or its principles--wants to bring the force of law down upon those who disagree with her!

What an autocratic, dictatorial, dangerous emporer wanna-be we've put in power! How can anyone with a functioning brain stem justify her actions or her words?

Sheesh. The only people who I see that oughta support this woman are terrorist sympathizers. If she'd wear a burqa (and that would be helpful for us)--they'd probably adopt her. (Of course, that would cause her to lose her "free advertising" discount for her bulk-rate botox injector.)

So...RS and CTB...are you going to condemn this woman?

Yep, the Greek Orthadox Church is left out in the cold while the liberals wet thier beds worrying about why most folks in the United States are uncomfortable with this particular mosque. It should be especially troubling knowing the title of the Imans' book. But hey, when have the liberals ever considered the truth about the threat Islam poses to our country?

I thought you were against things like the Patriot Act and yet you say nothing when the very Speaker of the House wants to use the power of the state to investigate people for simply exercising their right to free speech.

Speaker Pelosi should not have said that and I condemn her statement just like I oppose the other civil rights abuses of the Democrats (extending Patriot Act, National Security Letters, not closing Gitmo, etc.) However, it's hard to get worked up over something like Speaker Pelosi's comments which were likely made in frustration, when there are actual civil liberties violations by President Obama and the Democratic Congress.

But...when you're the Speaker of the House, you're not allowed to get so frustrated as to threaten investigation of folks because they disagree with you.
