Will the nation soon be under a nationwide quarantine? Vice President Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff Marc Short says “No,” and don’t expect such a mandate to come from the federal government.

Speaking to Fox News on Thursday, Short said, “No, I think again the federal government’s responsibility is to provide state and local officials with the best information possible to make those decisions. That’s the way our federalist system works, and that’s the most appropriate. I don’t see that mandate coming from us.”
