I’m thinking of going to Pencicola Christian College in Florida, anyone know anything about it that can help me learn about it?

Any other Baptist college recommendations from those who went?

I’m still not sure what I want to go into, a bunch of ideas and no direction

Hi Taitlynn, one thing you would no doubt find interesting is that Abeka and its publishing arm is an affiliate ministry of Pensacola Christian College. From everything I know about it, it may be one of the best 4-year Christian College experiences you will ever find.

I did actually know it was connected to Abeka, that is why I got interested in it!

My own three children all opted to go to Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, WI. Strong Baptist foundation, but high quality accredited degrees. My sons are now both pastors and daughter is a businesswoman.

Big difference from a Christian school to a Baptist university. Encourage you to look into that. Not just what is taught, but the friendships (and future spouse?) formed should be of believers who think the same way about church/doctrine as you do.

Our Pastor and his older brother both graduated from there. Both preach solid Gospel and nothing but. Our Pastor made many life long friends with both sutdents and facility, but warns they do not tolerate monkey shines. You better have your self together there.

Any particular you are considering PCC? may we ask what State/commonwealth you currently live in?

To me, it sounds like Maranatha or BJU would be better options, but I’m not IFB

And, I certainly have no dog in this hunt

I went to a school which was “an outside school” as well, and I can assure you I had no idea what I was doing there. I did not fit in at all, but I certainly needed to attend there.
