Are you following a Catholic calendar?

Hmmm - lets see - NOPE - that wasnt one of the questions.

But just for giggles I will answer your question.
Yes, I follow the Catholic calendar and not only that
but I learned something very interesting -
Did you know that 25 Dec - is the day that Christmas is celebrated!!!!

OK....for giggles, I’ve never seen Pentecost Sunday scheduled on a Baptist agenda. I have seen it on Catholic and Protestant calendars.

Our SBC church specifically noted that this was Pentecost Sunday in the opening remarks. That was the last we heard about it and the sermon didn't deal with it at all.

This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday.

Salty, check this out, by an ABWE missionary in Spain:

Center For Baptist Renewal

"the liturgical year is a tool that churches can use to deepen their awareness of the various gospel themes"

"...the liturgical year continues with Pentecost in which we celebrate the coming of the Spirit and the formation of the Church"

So why don't most Baptist do so?

And in the day of the Pentecost being fulfilled, they were all with one accord at the same place,
and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, according as the Spirit was giving them to declare.
then those, indeed, who did gladly receive his word were baptized, and there were added on that day, as it were, three thousand souls,

Would there be a, "Baptist," without it?

Does scripture point out a,"liturgical year,"?

If yes, is it's beginning shown in Luke 1 or is Exodus 12?

For Christians? Exactly, Who and what is Exodus 12 about?
