The irony of this whole thing is that A&E has kowtowed to an "audience" that doesn't even watch the show.
How many liberal/socialist gay rights activists do you suppose tune in regularly to a program featuring a Christian family that owns its own business, which is geared to those who like to call in and harvest ducks?
Oh, I don't think they'll actually kowtow. I think they'll take all the free publicity they're getting, which draws people who support the Duck dudes to their channel to support Phil & Co by watching their show, where they also display the commercials for all the other shows A&E broadcasts....
So they'll play the "equality" card and wait a few days for this to settle down, then pull Phil and the boys back because Phil and the boys are drawing viewers to their channel. They can't afford not to have them.
He said nothing really that Scripture hasn't already said.
I wonder if he knows what Scripture says about the fate of false teachers?

If that is the case, they'll be snapped up by another network quicker than you can say "Duck Commander" and A&E will be left to wonder why they are so stupid. On Wednesday, following intense criticism from gay rights groups and others, A&E announced that the patriarch of the duck-hunting family had been placed on "indefinite hiatus" following his comments to GQ magazine.
A source close to the show tells FOX411 that even if Robertson apologized, at this point, A&E is done with him.
Then again, maybe not ...

There are times when what you have to say is right and you have the right to say it, but what about "Discretion is the greater part of valor"?

Despite your mischaracterization of his statement as racial, he ain't bein' persecuted for this one.Do y'all agree with his racial theories:

Huh? Even Trevin Wax, editor of the SBC curriculum "The Gospel Project", had this to say about Phil's racial pronouncements:
"I find those comments absolutely absurd and a sad example of white tunnel-vision. What shocks me is that Robertson didn’t get suspended for those remarks but for his most recent remarks about homosexuality. It shows just how effective the gay rights movement has been in equating sexual orientation with race, that egregiously racial remarks are less controversial than saying homosexuality is sinful."
A spokesperson for the NAACP shared a copy of the letter that they, along with the Human Rights Campaign, sent to "Duck Dynasty" network A&E. In addition to asking for the network to "denounce and repudiate Robertson's comments," they demanded that Robertson "apologizes for his vitriolic comments."
"We want to be clear why Phil Robertson's remarks are not just dangerous but also inaccurate," the letter stated, in part. "Mr. Robertson claims that, from what he saw, African Americans were happier under Jim Crow. What he didn't see were lynching and beatings of black men and women for attempting to vote or simply walking down the street."
I'd hardly call that a "theory." I'd call it an observation from growing up in rural Louisiana, and I doubt a boy growing up there now would have a different viewpoint.Do y'all agree with his racial theories:

I think the show’s Christian fans — of which I am one — could use a reality check
he said black people were happy before the Civil Rights movement and he never saw racism in Louisiana growing up. Yes, he said that
the first time I was personally confronted with the harsh reality of racism against African Americans was in Louisiana, and I’d only been in the state a few hours
