Kudos to the President for allowing our military to do its job.

Maybe this will make these Somalian cretins think twice before messing with a ship flying our colors.

I think it's time for us to use the "Q-ship" strategy:

.
Absolutely agree with that statement. I was wondering this morning about why this stratagy has not been used in that area of the world. The international community needs to get tough with these pirates. With all the ills that Somalia has to endure, saddly, piracy offers the best financial reward and yet it is no excuse to endanger lives of others. Hooray for Obama on this one and a big:thumbs: to our Navy Seals.

Kudos to Obama! He past a good test.

It was a no-brainer.

He's failing far too many other tests for me to be overjoyed about this one.

I am happy for the hostage and his family. I am thankful for the dedication and professionalism of our military personnel.

Obama will do his best to destroy both.

I would be willing to bet Obama told the ship's captain to use his own best judgement.

If the snipers had missed or the hostage been killed , Obama would have hung out one United States Navy Captian to dry.
And you are privy to this info how? I get the feeling that no matter what the President does, you will make suppositions about what "MIGHT" have happened. Your stream of non stop negativism is tiring. Give the man credit where due. I criticize where I feel he errs, but he isn't always wrong, regardless of your statements.

Does anyone know if the bullets were coated in pig-fat before these terrorists were dispatched to meet their reward of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, John Paul Jones, Patrick Henry, Robert E. Lee, 'Jeb' Stuart, "Stonewall" Jackson, Douglas MacArthur, and the rest of those 72 Oh!, SO - eagerly awaiting Virginians? ;)

Pretty doggone effective, especially in WWI. Give the pirates 2 or 3 attacks on "helpless" boats that annihilate them...and their buddies might just take up another, safer career, such as alligator wrestling, arsenic taste-tester, or befriending OJ Simpson.

Perhaps OJ should go hunting with Cheney...

Kudos to the US President and military for sorting this one out. Put the remaining 'pirate' * on trial in the US and lock him away for the rest of his sorry life.

*I do hate that term - it conjures up quasi-romantic images of Johnny Depp and Co swanning around the Caribbean. These guys are criminals, plain and simple.
