    I am in Marinette, Wisconsin and it is getting cold this time of year. I saw a lawyer walking down the street today with his hands in his own pockets.

    What an enjoyable thread!

    For a long time I have enjoyed the wit and humor on this site as a lurker and now as a member. I just hope you guys never need a lawyer. If so, may he enjoy your sense of humor.

    I cannot think for the life of me when anyone would NEED a cat.

    Speaking of MILs.....

    My MIL came to visit a while back. I took her everywhere with me... to the coffee shop, WallyWorld, the post office... you name it and I took her along. madre says, "Oh honey, (she still call me that:love2: ), it's so sweet that you're taking Mama everywhere. I just knew you'd come around and grow fond of her."

    I said, "Baby, (I still call her that :love2: ) I ain't growing fond of the old battle ax. I just can't bring myself to kiss her goodbye."

    Funny---it seems to be workin' for Blackbird!!! You just have to kinda sorta hold your mouth just right----and work through all of the "Gliches"---press a few more keys on your keyboard without lookin' at the screen---with your eyes shut--that sort of thing----it works---whether you're a democrat or republican!!!:laugh:

    Speaking of old battleaxes, my sisters-in-law and I have made a pact. At our MIL's funeral, I'm bringing a wooden stake, one of them is bringing a silver bullet, and the other is bringing garlic. You can never be too sure.

    Grey squirrels are considered vermin here, but red ones ....... everyone seems to like. I think squirrels are lovely vermin.:thumbs:
