Planned Parenthood Director Quits After Watching Abortion on Ultrasound

The former director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in southeast Texas says she had a "change of heart" after watching an abortion last month — and she quit her job and joined a pro-life group in praying outside the facility.

Abby Johnson, 29, used to escort women from their cars to the clinic in the eight years she volunteered and worked for Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas. But she says she knew it was time to leave after she watched a fetus "crumple" as it was vacuumed out of a patient's uterus in September.

'When I was working at Planned Parenthood I was extremely pro-choice," Johnson told FoxNews.com. But after seeing the internal workings of the procedure for the first time on an ultrasound monitor, "I would say there was a definite conversion in my heart ... a spiritual conversion."

Johnson said she became disillusioned with her job after her bosses pressured her for months to increase profits by performing more and more abortions, which cost patients between $505 and $695.

"Every meeting that we had was, 'We don't have enough money, we don't have enough money — we've got to keep these abortions coming,'" Johnson told FoxNews.com. "It's a very lucrative business and that's why they want to increase numbers."

Praise the Lord for her change of heart.

For all of those who think abortion is about being for choice and women's health and women's choices, this is what abortion is about. Money.

If the news media would show what happened in an abortion I believe it would be stopped very quickly.

There is an ultrasound available now that shows a three dimensional picture of the baby in the womb. Those groups that favor the continued slaughter of the unborn fought the introduction of this instrument [apparently developed in England] into the United States but thankfully were unsuccessful.

I see that this site is calling abortion The American Holocaust. I have been using that designation for many years. This country has slaughtered almost nine times as many babies as the Nazi did Jews in WWII and it goes mostly unnoticed. Can God do anything other than bring judgment on this Nation.

I am reminded of God's judgment on Judah recorded in the closing chapters of II Kings. King Josiah attempted to turn Judah back to the Lord but was told:

II Kings 22:16, 17
16. Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:
17. Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.

This gives me some hope that the folk of this country just need to be exposed to TRUTH, and there would be a dramatic shift in many, MANY, public policies.

Gonna have to accomplish through means other than the MSM though!!

Check this link out:

http://www.liveprayer.com/aborsion.cfm

If link doesnt work, go to home page and you will see it right there on the top of the page.

I also have books with very graphic pictures that would just make you sick and cry.

But it can make people change their views.

Didn't look at this one. I have looked at one and posted it some years ago. Once is enough. I cannot understand how a doctor who is trained to save life can be so cavalier about killing a baby.

Incidentally one of the Dakota's or Minnesota or Wisconsin does not have a doctor who will perform an abortion. Can't remember which.

I thank God for Abby's change of heart and hope her testimony and witness to the power of God will move upon the conscience and souls of others, and that she will be blessed.

I was shown some fairly graphic images when I was much younger and they are seared into my brain for eternity. I'll never understand how those in healthcare can talk themselves into saying that this is right.

One of my cousins has a son who is an attorney for Planned Parenthood... we have a lot of debate, but his mother steps in quite often and tells me to be nice to her son. It's pathetic actually... he's an attorney, 30 years old and I have to 'play nice' else I'm considered a radical right-wing kook. Simply amazing. I pray for them often.

Praise God for this young woman's change of heart!
