NEW YORK (AP) — Former President Donald Trump has called for parents to elect and fire school principals. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has banned instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade. And Nikki Haley, the former U.N. ambassador who is expected to announce her White House candidacy this coming week, is among the Republicans taking aim at critical race theory.

I think DeSantis should've gone even farther. The fact that we're having to celebrate that children won't get groomed in public school until the 4th grade is laughable. It's almost a joke.

Also agree with CRT getting the boot.

Hopefully Brian Carroll runs again. Anti-abortion, anti-Corporatism, pro-environment, pro-distributism. Maybe he'll get my vote if the Republican candidate is junk.

Lets suppose he made it thru the 12 th grade - could be there would not be enough support
If he made the cutoff at 7th grade - could have been too close.
Once the 3rd grade and under passes - than older grades may gets support
Compromise is often needed.

Remember cigarettes - back in the 60's all the anti-smoking people wanted was a small notice on the package that said "smoking can be hazardous to your health."
If they demanded all the smoking laws that are not in effect at that time -
but by being patient - a few laws at the time became more acceptable.

Patience is a virtue - (especially when the polls are against you)
