A person who "repents" and then continues to do it isn't really repenting. Now, that doesn't mean he will never do it again. Let's say someone has an anger problem. They recognize their anger problem. They repent of their anger problem. They work on it and make every effort to not be angry. Will they fail from time to time, sure they will. But if a person says they are repenting of anger and we see no change, then there was no repentance.

This is something I struggled with. Do I still get angry when I shouldn't be? Yes, but less and less. God has given me much help in changing that aspect of my life. I have the Spirit, I've been born again. That's the difference between a saved person and an unsaved person. I couldn't have done it on my own.

 Yes sin can be a struggle, but its only a struggle when we are seeking to be loosed. If we are not seeking to be loosed then we are in the practice of sin.

a Christian can be involved in "daily repenting/confessing" of a sin problem in their life...

They can also get to the position where there is a "permanent repentance" of that act, by which by grace/enabling of God make a 'clean break" from that sin area...

Know that, as both have happened in my walk with Christ!

BOTH saved/unsaved can be found at times doing same sins, big difference is the saved know its still wrong, and ask God to forgive them, and will try to get victory over it!

Some find deliverence immediatly, others later, some have to 'deal with it" all their lives!
