Please pray for my 85-year-old dad ...

My dad had a call Sunday to be
at the hospital the next day. He
had his toenails trimmed and his
hearing aids checked and they
did draw blood. Sometime this
week we should hear the results
of his blood test.

My dad accepted the Lord as his Savior tonight...

in the hospital.

His doctor told him that he has air/hole in his stomach.
My dad has 3 coronary arteries that are blocked.
At his age surgery is not a great option.
Another doctor was not sure what my dad has.
Please pray for him.

PTL!! My dad is saved!!

One of my sisters was used by the Lord to lead my dad to the Lord!!

Pray for my saved dad and for our entire
family at this time.

My saved dad is in ICU on an ventilator
he is unable to urinate and can not keep
fluids down.

Praying to a awesome God.
He is the author of miracles!

My dad who was lead to the Lord by one of my sisterswhen my dad is in ICU. The doctor
told the family that our dad would die without this surgery to find out what
was causing the air in his stomach. He has some kind "tear" for a better word
in his colon. During a lab test the hospital discovered that he has a staph
infection. Because my dad is in so much pain, the hospital have put him in a sleep mode and have told the family that he can have no vistors at this time.

Now you know why several of us children made a sigh of relief to know that
our dad has accepted the Lord at the age of 86 years old and 7 months.
I want to encourage all of you lurkers and posters nevergive up on
a friend or family until they have taken their last breath. Have the members
of the family ever asked our dad if he wanted to be saved, the answers is
yes, many times! We and the Lord NEVER gave up on him.

Our family has been advise my the hospital's
view of what could happen to our dad and
what the family wishes and the mother is the
one whom they will considerate of wishes as
priority. Our family met in person or by phone
and discuss with our mom and was filled with
peace we all were in agreement. My mom believes
in a miracle and we are praying for God's intervention
in by dad's behalf.
We are so relieved to know he accepted the Lord
before his surgery!

 

We are remembering all of you poster's request and want to thank all of
you who are praying for my newly saved dad.

He has been taken out of ICU and the hospital wants to send him to a rehab/
nursing home because he still requires 24-hour care. Please pray for us about
this. My dad is not prepare for this new change- of -address situation.

Lord, Please prepare my dad for this move in his life and may he get stronger
and better. Pray for my mom too. In Your Name we pray. AMEN

I called my dad's nurse since I am out of town
and she told me that this was her first time to watch my dad. He has a good report today and he is improving. Monday my dad's social worker will be in to talk about where to place my dad after he lives the hospital. My dad is on 24-hour watch because he tries to remove his feeding tube and other items that
he "thinks" that he does not need. Thanks for your prayers!raying::1_grouphug:

 

Thank you all who are praying for my dad.
My sister called me tonight to let us know that my dad has
a serious staph infection called MRSA. My mother went up to see him for the
first time and my sister used every precaution possible to keep my mom safe.
My mom was just in the hospital on Father's Day for a kidney infection. She is
not in the best of health,but she felt good enough to visit him tonight.
Thanks for being faithful prayer partners.

God is able to perform another miracle and we trust Him for a healing or what
is best... We love the Lord, He has been so good to our dad and family.

 

Lord, Bless each of the prayer warriors who are praying for my and others
request! Thank you for your prayers, it means so much to all of us. I am going
to "lurk" pray for each request and encourage us to all to pray for them too.

We are praising the Lord in spite of my dad's staph infection.

Praising the Lord:

because the hospital took the feeding tube out of his nose.
because he was able to stand up and was released from the hospital.
He is in a nursing center to continue his treatment in a private room
in a nursing center/rehab/nursing home.

Thanks for praying! Please continue to pray for him!

 

We are continuing to praise the Lord in my dad's behalf.
His swelling has gone down a lot. He is eating better.
But at times he says stuff that does not make sense.
Continue to pray and praise the Lord for His goodness
to us who are only sinners saved by His grace.
