I think that I will close my account there. I was standing in the lobby there yesterday when I saw all the hoop-la on video monitor regarding the bank's support of LGBTQ customers and employees, especially since June is the "gay pride" month. I can go along with live and let live to an extent, but not open support for moral depravity.

Before you know it, all banks will be doing that.

Remember decades ago - virtually no grocery store sold alcholic - then one did,
then another and another - and now - I doubt you could find a supermarket that not sell booze

Just saying.....

But one thing, Roy, have you talked to anyone at the bank?

I haven't talked to them. They will probably contact me when I close the accounts. I will be civil and even offer to send flyers and brochures to all of the area churches in order so that they can help the bank celebrate LGBTQ month.

I bet the problem will be that the local branch has no authority to change. Probably a corporate dictate.

For certain. And how long before any major banks NOT having/endorsing such celebrations (and lifestyles) become subject to the type of boycott currently being threatened against states passing laws to reduce/end abortion.
