Can I propose something radical? Instead of finding entertainment for our kids, why aren't they encouraged to get involved with serving people - reaching out - getting their hands dirty - being challenged to know God's Word?

Please, do not tell me about "mission trips". I am talking real life. The reason kids need entertaining is because they are bored. The first sign of boredom is lethargy - no goals, no empathy for the lost and hurting. The homeless agencies, foster kids, nursing homes, hospitals are full of people who are starved for attention and love and the Gospel. How can they know, unless they have been told and shown the love of Christ?
