I believe, because of Trump's extreme rhetoric, the extreme right wing terrorists have been embolden by his election. We will see more of this I fear.

Police are investigating reports that a student wearing a hijab at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette was hit with a metal object and robbed while walking to class on Wednesday morning.

One of her attackers was wearing a white hat that read “TRUMP,” a University of Louisiana Police Department notice sent to students and obtained by The Huffington Post states.

The student told police that she was on her way to class when a dark sedan approached her and two white men wearing sweatpants left the car, according to the notice.

She said the suspects struck her with “something metal,” causing her to fall to the ground. They hit her again while she was on the ground and “made obscene comments” at her, the alert states.

Yes, you tried to excuse this act and redirect the thread to the past and not keep in in the here and now and about what will happen if these radical right wingers are not stopped now. Your reply simply indicated that is was simply pay back for previous acts.

I also just saw a video of two black men beating an elderly white Trump voter. This is why I told my daughter to not put anything on her car or say anything where she lives about voting Republican. She lives in Washington DC where 93% of the voters were for Hillary Clinton - and where there were protests and flag burnings. It would be very unsafe.

I agree, it is not just Trump supporters. But I do believe his inflammatory rhetoric has and will encourage some in our society to single out minorities for mistreatment. I also believe that is what many werre really saying when they said they wanted to return America to an early era. That has put fear into the lives of many of my African-American friends. It has also put fear into the lives of people who have immigrated here legally from some foreign countries. To me Trump did a great disservice to all Americans with his campaign bellicose language.

Additionally his bully attitude has encouraged bully children to taunt and bully others, especially children of alien parents. I can cite references for this if you want.

Sadly no one seems to have told Christians that putting Trump stickers on their cars would perhaps cause many of the lost from certain communities to flee from their parking lots (without ever stopping or getting out) like they were being chased.

Just like my daughter feels nervous about being a Republican in a very Democratic area which now is hosting protests and fires. I've seen the beatings of Trump supporters. It's frightening as a parent to me to think that my daughter is in that kind of a situation. Fortunately she's in a good area so they aren't protesting outside of her home.

Someone wore a Halloween costume to an NFL game with a noose around Obama's neck.Where were the complaints about incendiary rhetoric? Shucks that's all Trump did the majority of the time was put out incendiary rhetoric.

I haven't heard much if anything from the right about why threats against Obama had increased some 400% in comparison to his predecessor according to the Secret Service.
