Police Kicked Out Of Belleville Denny’s For Being Armed

I would have thought all-night places like this would love to have the police presence.

It's a gun-free zone I guess, just that the word hasn't gotten around in the streets yet, so the muggers and the robbers're kinda like caught unawares and now are shakin' their heads, cause Denny's management has revoked the gun-free thingy.

I thought this was made up when I first saw it, got irritated when I saw it was real, then backed off when I saw the general manager tried to sort things with the officers before they left.

Not as bothered as I was because the boss tried to fix the mistake of the first manager.

This was a case of one minor manager making a mistake, the general manager trying to correct the error, and the officers choosing to leave. Dennys has apologised.

Not much to make a big story out of here.

It does serve one purpose, and it's a good one.

It's a good reminder to find out what businesses you frequent allow for concealed or open carry and which ones don't.

Denny's around here don't have a problem with police officers eating at their restaurants. And like the article stated, Denny's apologized for the misunderstanding.

I have a CCL and I have never had a problem at the restaurants I eat at, including Denny's.
