Poll: Fox most trusted name in news

Fox is the most trusted television news network in the country, according to a new poll out Tuesday.

A Public Policy Polling nationwide survey of 1,151 registered voters Jan. 18-19 found that 49 percent of Americans trusted Fox News, 10 percentage points more than any other network.

Did you notice the last paragraph in the article ....

As much as I hate to admit it, boy is right. The BBC has proven itself to be very even handed and reports things about Oba-Mao that the MSM wouldn't dare to report.

Can't speak to the BBC, but I was disappointed in the interview by Chris Wallace of Gibbs (don't remember his first name) earlier this week.

CW has, in the past, thrown some hardball questions at his interviewees, but this one with Gibbs made me feel I was watching CNN or MSNBC or such.

Don't watch him regularly, but the last Rep that I saw him interview was cornered till he (the Rep) answered the asked question.

Gibbs was cut a lot of slack in this depart.

IMO if a person only watches on news channel he/she wouldn't be getting a balanced view at all and will not learn enough about an issue to form an educated opinion. Sadly a person has to try and view, and read many sources in order to try and get enough of the facts about an issue. It is something that a person actually has to put some effort into working at. It shouldn't be this way but it is, and if someone just watches on channel for a couple of hours here and there it is lacking.
