You visibly support liberal Democrats. The various votes I have cast for Libertarians throughout the years would belie your claim of “every chance”.

It is right now being successfully governed that way.Nope. I mean the horrible attitude that “It’s my way or the highway, bub” that has so greatly infected the body politic. This country cannot be successfully governed that way.

One monstrous aspect of the improper impeachment inquiry is that it is being framed as if it should be a highly partisan effort. Some days ago, Chris Cuomo insisted that whether to have an impeachment (inquiry) "is for the Democrats to decide."“The poll finds that, by a margin of 58 percent to 38 percent, Americans say the House was correct to undertake the inquiry.“

6. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Democrats in Congress have handled the impeachment inquiry?
Approve—49 ... Disapprove—44 ... No opinion—7 ... (+/- 3.5)
the "popular" press was calling for an electoral win of Hillary HALF-WAY through the very election itself. That is not accurate. The national average at election day showed Clinton up by 2%, which is what happened in the voting. It is true that Trump won the land vote(which is a significant portion of the Electoral College), but Clinton won the most votes from people. A major threat to the future of the American experiment is if Republicans keep losing the national vote but win the Electoral College, as they have 2 of the last 3 times they have won. The GOP has not won a majority of the popular vote for president since 1988. A continued mismatch between the popular vote winner and the Electoral College vote winner is not sustainable for our governmental system to remain viable in this country.

yeah for horse races - we are talking POTUS races. The popular opinion is nowhere near always correct. I have watched lots and lots and lots of horse races where the popular opinion makes the favorite odds on and doesn't win.
