There's no evidence that President Bush has anything to do with this lady or anyone else like her. How does what your wrote relate to him?

You know, what with bungling Iraq, the loss of good jobs for McDonald's work, the huge debt, the increase in federal handouts, spying on American citizens, Katrina, and Cheney's marksmanship, is this really the most serious problem in the Bush Administration?

Let them have a pass on this one.

    Sure. *smirk*

It's more fun when it's not...this gossip is so fluffy credibility hardly figures into it.
*smirk, smirk* That's the funnest part 'cause so many Republicans talk like they've cornered the morality market.

Any group? Members of GLAD (Gay and Lesbian Advocates & Defenders) probably wouldn't hit on her hardly at all - got 'cha!

That sounds like work...scandal-mongering shouldn't be work.

    Bush+Carey+presscorps=awkward moment
    Berlusconi+Carey+presscorps=bussiness as usual
Putin+Carey+presscorps=an opportunity to proof he is a strong virile leader

In the end it is a commentary on how the electorate perceives its president. Poor Bush, for stuff like this he has the wrong electorate. :D

Now, she must be a true literalist, taking every word in the Bible as literal, such as Romans 7:20

Why a free pass? What for? The Rep's. did nothing wrong. It was not a formal invitation to a porn star. It was (probably) an invitation to a donor to the party. Incidently one that is probably in a legal enough profession.

I imagine, had they known she was a porno star, the invite would not have been offered. There is no other reason possible that would account for a direct offer to a known porn star by either party.

    See Dragoon's first post.

Yeah, she's probably making it all up. It was an invitation, but not a formal invitation. We need to keep that in mind.

And yeah, what she does is legal in some places. So is abortion, everywhere. The point?

You're offering a "pass" instead of an apology for passing along an implication of something that's simply not true?

Not only was there no wrong doing by President Bush, the Republican National Party, or the National Republican Congressional Committee on this issue but likewise on several of the additional off topic items you've thrown out now.

The biggest implication of these additional items is that Iraq war has been "bungled" - it has not and, in fact, the people on the ground keep telling us steady progress is being made despite the negative news from the general media; and the most insignificant implication is that of Vice President Cheney's having poor "marksmanship" which, whether true or not, has nothing whatsoever to do with anything of relevance to the performance of any elected official of any party.

What kind of comment is that, ASLANSPAL? What is it with you and your unending desire to insult me at every opportunity? Can you not express your opinons without these kind of remarks or is this the true substance of your thought process? </font>[/QUOTE]Well, ASLANSPAL, do you have an answer for me?

I really don't care if the GOP wants to have a porn star at their affair. I don't care what, if anything Bush knew about it.

If you think that Bush didn't bungle the Iraq situation, you haven't been following the news.
It's been one embarassment after another. For a fraction of what Bush's team has bungled in Iraq, Clinton fired his Secretary of Defense.

I don't think they've "bungle the Iraq" war at all and I do follow the news - including the reports directly from the field - and, given the difficult situation it is, I'm pleased with the progress made, hope for more sooner, and continue to support the cause and those carrrying it out on our behalf.
