Acts 10. 38
38. "You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how GOD anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good, and healing (see also: Diseases) all who were oppressed by the Devil, GOD was with Him."
MOD NOTE: Paragraph teaching that Jesus is a "created being" is deleted.
The word "anointed" with the Holy Spirit, here most likely applies to a Human Jesus Who from His early childhood must be Holy in order to fulfill His mission.
~ "and how He went about doing good, and healing ..." Of course, what kind of GOD Jesus would be if He would not do more good beside healing and resurrection of the dead? As it written about Him, all His good deeds he had done in His lifetime, there is not enough books of the world to contain (John 21.24-25), figuratively speaking.
So, this means that we know very little, a very small fraction of the good deeds of Christ during His short lifetime, but no matter how little we know about Him, the point here is this, that in order to be true believer and true follower of Christ, and legitimately call yourself as Christian, we should also take example of Christ to do good deeds as He did Himself, otherwise what kind of Christians we would be without good deeds?
Some "Christians" argue that good deeds not needed but only faith, Jesus on the other hand had both, and proved that faith without deeds is dead.
~ "all who were oppressed by the Devil," No question about that Devil can inflict horrible diseases and suffering, just like he did to Job, and even take life if GOD permit, but GOD also can do the same things and He does it constantly by punishing the wicked and rewarding the godly.
"Oppressed by the Devil," may also include mental and spiritual conditions, such as insanity, wickedness, deceit, betrays, lies, and similar others. These mental and spiritual conditions usually come from the Devil, because he is the father of lies and deceit (John 8.44). No doctor can help, but we have only One Helper and the Healer from mental and spiritual illnesses, our Lord Jesus Christ, and on Him we must put our faith and hope.
Acts 10.40
40. GOD raised Him up on *the third day (see also: Numbers), and granted that He should become visible,
~ 40. "Three days and Three nights." (Hosea 6.2) (Jonah 1.17) (Matthew 12.38-40, 16.21, 17.22-23, 20.18-19, 26.61, 27.40) (Mark 8.31, 9.31, 10.33-34, 14.58, 15.29) (Luke 9.22, 18.32-33, 24.5-7.46) (John 2.18-22, 11.17.39) (Acts 10.40) (1Corinthians 15.4) (Revelation 11.9.11).
~ Besides the facts that GOD Father gave Jesus all his powers and everything that He had created through His Son, Jesus still relies on the power of His Father Who Personally resurrected Him from the dead, Who Personally continue granted Jesus other extraordinary powers to do extraordinary things.
In this particular case GOD Father granted Jesus to became visible to certain men. The Father GOD not only can make Jesus visible to ordinary men, but also to a certain selected group of people of His choice, and not to all.
Sometimes people can hear GOD but see no one (Acts 9.3-7), because only selected number of people can hear and can see the appearance of GOD and angels, but for others it is not permitted. The same thing applied and to resurrection of the dead when Jesus and His Apostles after Him before resurrection of a person drove everyone from the house or allowed only few to remain to see the great miracle of the Lord's power.
It is also showing worthiness of the people and distinction between those who are worthy to see great deeds of GOD or hear His voice, and between those who are not deserved to see GOD' S power or to hear His voice.
