Power Prayer

When making our prayers, we aren’t bending God’s Will to our will. God knows all we need and will ask for.

When we make our prayers we make them in-line with God’s Will. Always make your requests in joyful Union with God’s Will, and these prayers carry great power.
It is a surrendering and consecration of something to God’s Will more than a request or supplication.
Sometimes the only thing that holds up the graces and blessings is that surrender to His Will, and is that handing over.
I have seen such immense graces, blessings and providence flow freely because of this, but in God’s way and timing.
So consecrate and surrender whatever it is to God’s Holy Will, timing and Providence.

Why is this prayer most powerful?

Because you are making sacrifice. You are sacrificing your will, your way, your whole volition.
You are making great sacrifice, on par with or greater than your own mortal life.

Your will is the core of yourself, when you give that, you are offering your entire self in heart, mind and strength, your will is all of these.

When we pray with this disposition, we take our hand off the tiller and place our hand on His hand which is on the tiller.

We aren’t steering the ship, nor are we capable.

This subtle change in our disposition isn’t subtle at all, in this we gain insight into the Masterful hand of God’s Holy Will, we become witnesses to its powerful and endless effects.

Our hand acts in union with The Fathers Hand and Will, we become accustomed and sensitive to His direction. So that when we act, we are acting with and in The Fathers Will, with all its power and strength.

“And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

Even if we see what is ahead and are fearful of it, we do not change our disposition to The Father’s Will.

John 3:21 “But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

Works wrought in God are different, they are not just human works.

Are they our works or God’s works? They are both, they are God working through us.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me “

“I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.“

“ I might save some “. Isn’t Jesus the only Saviour?

We become saviours when God acts through us by Grace to save others.

We can’t do anything by ourselves, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

These works are salvific, they are not human effort alone, but human effort wrought in God’s Grace acting through us.

That’s why social workers burn out and actually can cause more problems rather than fix anything, they are going out with only human effort.

I don’t care how much of a bleeding heart you are, without Jesus, you aren’t going to change anything, but you can make things worse. Which they do.

We aren’t full time in street ministry or even paid, but strengthened by Jesus with us, we have brought real change, healing and miracles, something the social workers can’t begin to hope for. They refer the hard and dangerous cases to us, private nobody Christian volunteers. We don’t even have an organisation, a part from people praying for us.

We have had Jesus and Angels manifest in our work, and human efforts by themselves can not come close to anything like the effect of that. Not even close.

We must fill up from the source of Grace, which is Jesus and dispose ourselves and abandon ourselves completely to His Will and direction to be effective.

Because we are part of the Body of Christ our sufferings gain great significance, our lives start to mirror Jesus life.
In this we deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow Him.

As far as we imitate Jesus our lives bring salvation to others.

You will be taken before magistrates and judges also.

You will be crucified and rise again in glory.
