Okay, I do see a little of the bitterness but I doubt it's a problem for him - if it's not debilitating his life to a good degree, it's not even an issue. Saying "I told you so" is useless when it's just going to fall on deaf ears.
This may be a narrow interpretation of the term "cult of personality" but I don't see it with Trump or his cabinet at all - where's the over-the-top propaganda, the Trump statues, the deification of the man? Look at his poll numbers, look at the majority of the media coverage, he's no Peron, Mao, Hitler, Mussolini, et al - all the cabinet are are partisans, they are not the unwashed masses you need to be present for a true cult of personality in a political leader.
