So you made an unsupported assertion..one you cannot even support yourself.just-want-peace said:If you are truly interested in the facts, do a little research on various missionary reports from 3rd world countries.
I don't record such, and I'm not gonna spend my computer time to find stuff that I feel (note feel, not know!) you will dismiss anyway.
If that were true, I wouldn't be asking you for facts to support your assertions. My apologies if I misread your attitude, but from the bulk of your responses, this is the feel I get of your concern for anything that doesn't jive with what you already "believe".
Answers to prayer have been recorded in many books. JWP just said he wasn't going to waste his time looking up what he felt would be rejected. The book that coems to mind is Georg Meuller's autobiography.Magnetic Poles said:So you made an unsupported assertion..one you cannot even support yourself.

And I replied I am serious if he has evidence to support the specific assertion he made...not the answered prayer issue in general. He talks about miraculous events, unspecified and unsupported. That is the issue.Squire Robertsson said:Answers to prayer have been recorded in many books. JWP just said he wasn't going to waste his time looking up what he felt would be rejected. Perhaps Gov. Perdue was following the advice of American humorist, Mark Twain:
"It is best to read the weather forecasts before we pray for rain."
In any case, I am glad that GA got a little rain.
That is a good post. I will take the grace of God any day over the ability of a governmental agency to predict anything.Ps104_33 said:I am amazed at the amount of cynicism there is among Christians on this board. It kind if makes one wonder. Prayer is a true guage of ones faith in God and it seems there are alot of "christians" around here who lack in this area. I feel sorry for you.
Keep your phony pity to yourself. Also, you can stuff your "quotes" and small "c" in Christian. In writing such, you accuse me of not being a Christian, against board rules.Ps104_33 said:I am amazed at the amount of cynicism there is among Christians on this board. It kind if makes one wonder.
