But then reformers wants to say but "the natural man is disabled and unable to respond to the gospel because he can't hear it unless he is elect" Scripture never ever said this in fact scripture says.Act 28:28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

It would make sence if salvation was sent to all gentiles then all would be saved which is not the case.

acts 13:48
48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

john 6:37
37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
john 6:65
65 And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”
John 17:9
9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.
Romans 11:7
7 What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened,

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith

Convincing people of your views on salvation is hardly the fight that was spoken of here.

Dan,

I believe we should encourage our brothers in christ reguardless of there view and i fail to see your encouragements here Dan.

2 Months ago I did not even know Who Calvin was but I found that we had simular beliefs. I have not Professed to be a calvinest or anything but a christian. I found a christian board to make post on so i could have meaningfull discussions on. within that board I found one labled Theology. I feel very comfortable in My beliefs not based on calvin but based on my own searching and knowledge of the bible, which is Poor at best, but well enough to talk about it. If i have come to the wrong place to discuss theology with fellow Brothers in christ let me know so I can go elswere. If I have offended you my apologies.

no offense taken, therefore no need.

Forests and trees Scott. Forests and trees.

(that's my new favorite phrase, John 5:39 from the Message)

Scott, I'm sorry that I have not been an encouragement to you. I didn't realize you were new to the Doctrine of Grace, and was teasing.
I am basically one who also adheres to the Doctrine of Grace.
If you didn't know who Calvin is and what Calvinists are, the so-called TULIP doctrine is also known as Doctrine of Grace.

I believe, like you do, that God elected a people unto Himself for salvation in Christ before the foundation of the world and that Christ came and shed His blood for them, and only for them, and that these elect who are God's people are scattered all over the earth, and that they have always been here since the dawn of time.

Take heart, brother.
