No, it was a woman's story of her being raped. The only thing that was tangentially relevant to Kavanaugh was that this woman went to Yale in the 80's.
You didn't read carefully at all. The only detail you mentioned was wrong:
  • She was raised with conservative politics
  • She attended an elite prep school
  • She is also religious with a deep faith in God
  • She engaged in occasional binge drinking (as severe as Kavanaugh testified, but probably not as severe as Kavanaugh actually did)
  • She worked hard in school, like Kavanaugh testified
  • She also studied at Cross Campus Library
  • She actually went to Harvard (not Yale as you stated), while Kavanaugh went to Yale -- but both were top-tier law schools
  • She was raped. He was accused of attempted rape.
  • He apparently kept his calendars, she kept diaries
  • He is being considered for the Supreme Court and has been accused of attempted rape / She was raped and would raise objections if her rapist (also an attorney) was considered for a high-level government position, although she would reconsider if her rapist would reach out and simply apologize.

but I will agree with you that Kavanaugh has lost a lot of credibility. Sheldon Whitehouse reveals a lot with The Judges calendar.
Dem Senator: Kavanaugh's Calendar 'May Be Powerful Evidence' Backing Up Ford's Accusation

Yep, exactly.

Do you guys pay ANY attention to the hearing? The calendar entry that Whitehouse is desperately trying to insinuate is the day that Ford was assaulted was July 1st. Kavanaugh says he went to Timmy's for "skis". Here's the entry:

“Go to Timmy’s for skis with Judge, Tom, P.J., Bernie and Squi.”

Under questioning by prosecutor Mitchell, Dr. Ford identified these people at the party where she alleges she was assaulted:
Kavanaugh, Mark Judge, P.J., her friend Leland, and a boy whose name she didn't know.

OK, but Kavanaugh's calendar says a guy named 'Squi' was at the July 1st gathering. Under questioning Ford said she was dating 'Squi' that summer. So, if the July 1st party is supposed to be the one where she was assaulted, wouldn't she know the name of the other boy that was there?! After all, she was dating him!!

Ok, I mistook Harvard for Yale. Simply reinforces my contention that there are no real comparisons here.

But since you listed all the salient points of the article here, you've saved everybody the trouble of reading the article. Anyone can see there is no linkage or significant comparison between the Kavanaugh and this woman, there is only vaguely similar circumstances.

Really? There's all kinds of comparisons.

People who are interested in knowing things take the initiative and read for themselves. The only reason I summarized the comparisons -- but not the salient points -- is because you seem to have utterly missed every one.

Anyone can see there is no linkage or significant comparison between the Kavanaugh and this woman///
No one has claimed that -- at all.

However, there is a comparison to be made between her and Ford, Kavanaugh's first known accuser.

Sorrowful stories could go on ad infinitum or the population of the world.

I myself was abused by an older family member.

Many many here at the BB could give heart wrenching stories.

This is about abortion plain and simple. PRO-LIFE VS PRO-DEATH.

That's only a side issue. The real issue is TRUMP and if he can steer the country in his Trumpian direction. Apparently he is having an up hill battle & his opponents (mostly feminist's) are growing & they vote.
