Ontario has fallen to Vaccine Nazis…

Her terrified children cry while mask wearing Mom is arrested for not showing proof of vaccine at an ice rink. Are you angry yet? Or maybe you agree, for the common good, of course. I really don’t see how these cops sleep at night. Just doing my job? Maybe you need to quit working for the devil, because this is evil.

So we have a cop that likes to drink - and he stops someone who just blew .08. but he thinks its not that bad and lets them go. Face it, how could he sleep at night if he arrested that couple. But you protest he broke the law- yes he did -.....

Yes, that mom broke the law - but 1) since she did not have proof - she simply should have left.
and 2) get the law changed.

Is it actually a law in Canada? I don't know and am curious.

This is a principle that needs discussion.

If I have a store and I decide to require people to remove their masks before entering (maybe for identification, or because I have been robbed too many times, or because it is MY business) should I have that right?

What if I require a mask? It is my business. Should be my business to decide.

Same with vaccinations.

Yes, she was violating a law. Ontario lifted capacity limits on public venues on the condition customers provide proof of vaccine.

It isn’t the “same” as a mask. You aren’t requiring them to eat the mask or otherwise find a way to put it into their bodies.

What if I own a restaurant and I require customers to show their last A1C (blood sugar test) or cholesterol tests before I agree to serve them pasta or meat? How about a letter from their doctor proving vaccination for Hyp C?

What if I require they show proof they have been to the gym 3 times a week and walked 3 miles on the treadmill each time?

It’s just plain nonsense, overreaction, big government intrusion.

peace to you

It is the same. The business has 2 choices - operate at reduced capacity or require proof of vaccination and operate at full capacity.

They have the right to make decisions that affect their business and the safety of their customers.

The woman also had a choice - get vaccinated and attend the venue or don't attend the venue.

As venues open back up I suspect we will see this more and more. Bottom line is it is not fair for the unvaccinated to hold an economy hostage. The vaccines have been used since May 2020....time for the rest of us to move on.

They should have the right - doesnt mean the govt allows
I think the main sentiment is amblivance. We have had a vaccine since May 2020. The vacvine has been proven effective against covid. There are always people who reject vaccines (we saw this with the measles vaccine prior to the pandemic).

The unvaccinated do not want to be told to take a vaccine. That is perfectly fine. But they also want the majority of Americans to follow their beliefs. That is not OK.

I am not for forcing vaccines on people. But I am also not for the unvaccinated holding our economy hostage. Most of US citizens are vaccinated. Require proof of vaccination for large venues, for participating in sports, for essential employment....let's just move forward.

Since the unvaxed pregnant woman was arrested in front of her children and taken into police custody, looks like the unvaxed are literally being held hostage by an over reacting government.

I have no problem avoiding businesses that demand my private medical info. See how long they have customers if they keep putting them in jail.

peace to you

Just seems that way. The business required proof of vaccination so they could operate at full capacity under the law. She used her children as pawns.

The unvaccinated want to hold the world hostage, makes us bow to their beliefs. That is not right. There is always a risk of infection, but the unvaccinated are the primary source of spread. People do not have the right to put others at risk.

So lock her up. It will be a good lesson for others.
