It also should have said :

Why should it say that?
Some of you are going to die and spend eternity in hell.

Have you ever said such a thing?

Would that statement be true if spoken?

What if everyone there was going to be saved by God?

Why should that statement be made?

God does not want you.

You have some strange ideas:laugh:

He will get glory by refusing to offer you grace.

Are you suggesting that God does anything that is not praiseworthy?
Some of you will burn in hell and there is nothing you can do.

Do you believe God will cast men into hell justly?

There is no opportunity for you.

If the cross is being preached that is the opportunity.

God hates you,

4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

Christ did not die for you,

The pastor cannot know if Christ died for that person....so he would do what the apostles did and say Christ Jesus died to save sinners...that covers all who will be saved.

Brother,

I pray that I didn't help in this thread's demise...:praying: :saint:

Oh, no. I actually had a method to my madness with this thread. I figured that the anti-Calvinist zealots would either not respond or do drive-by's That was before steaver's thread was closed down by Squire. Once that happened they needed someplace to unload their malcontent.

But I proved my point. A Calvinistic sermon is preached every time a Calvinist preaches. If that is not accepted by our Arminian and semi-Pelagian friends, so what? I have never been known to seek their approval or permission. But let's keep in mind that many people more people read these threads than ever post in them. Those are the one's we are reaching with the truth.
