There is no “should” to it. It is a choice. No one should be compelled to gamble, including in the stock market.

Just like the use of alcoholic beverages, use moderation. I am a stock market investor and small time horseplayer myself.

No one can defend the Libertarian Platform. It is totally modernist. While Jesus died on the Cross, Roman soldiers gambled for the rags He wore. Gambling is a sin.

I hope you are sitting down when I tell you this. Trumps name is plastered all over these cathedrals of sin called casinos.

How are ‘cathedrals of sin’ any different from all investments in the stock market? One might say even buying a house is gambling, or picking the doctor you entrust your life to.......... You are so anxious to trash our President, but just because his name is on the building, means nothing. That’s like saying anyone who owns a Golden Corral is guilty of tempting you to gluttony. Full disclosure: Whenever I go to Vegas, I lay some money down, eat like a pig, & party hardy, I don’t however visit the large casino that is 10 miles from my house. I have other vices as well. Maybe I should be barred from the BB.

Libertarians favor polygamy and legalization of narcotics and prostitution. They oppose the death penalty and they oppose a constitutional amendment protecting the life of the unborn child. They overlap with Biden to a large extent. Joe & Jo.
Ok, pretty awful sounding I agree. They basically want an anything goes mandate without restraint then.
Even though there are none righteous, some are more non righteous than others, as in worse. Republicans thankfully are the more righteous party.

Libertarians don't defend their platform. Some are trying to attract the Never Trumpers who are gone forever from the GOP. Trump ain't no saint but he is not low like Biden and he doesn't stand on a rotten platform such as the Libertarians have.

Yes it is a matter of degrees of how bad things could be depending on who gets to make government policies.
Too many people want government to give them everything, housing, money, food, job or even no job.
Eventually you run out of other people's money.
Seems today people are willing to trade freedom for socialist government control of their entire life. That kind of person you can not count on in a fight, they are like leaning on a splintered staff. They all want everything for nothing, no skin in the game, they are parasitical.

I think you took my comment far too seriously.

I guess that depends on the church you're in. ....

Churches don't determine truth. All bible believing churches will accept liberals and democrats. Some will go further and go out of their way to make them comfortable, usually by not discussing political issue like abortion. They're basically apolitical. Others will preach the truth in love, and make people who hold views like abortion uncomfortable (that's what happened to me as a new believer). They don't focus on it, but it comes up at appropriate times.

That's generally been the history of the Church in America. They've understood the being apolitical is akin to be amoral.
