Jesus is my affliction but thats really the wrong word......more appropriate is Passion, Confidence, my Lord & Savior. Can Trump say that?
I don't know:
...man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Guess jesus meant not to pray for another brother, but to call him names?
Well, While I do not agree with all that he stated/tweeted, I do support much of it!So teach that to your so called "Baby Christian" who makes name calling a daily occurrence.
BTW you have a point in that critics of Christianity would say we have an immoral God.
e.g. He destroyed the world in the flood of Noah - men, women (pregnant as well), children, babies, animals...

Sew buttons!
Mine too.That was my point.

But but they are really not conservative, rather they are neo con. Take for example the constant borrowing of money from the Chinese which adds to our debt. Do you think that’s truly conservative. No it’s not. It’s right out of the Bush / Paulson era Neocon play book. Then Barry did it, then Trump went and did it again. Ha ha ha, hardly conservative!Evangelical support for President Trump seems to be based on a false dichotomy, that we as Christians are required to choose a political candidate when neither option is truly godly.
It is true that Mrs. Clinton's support for abortion makes her clearly unacceptable to the majority of Evangelicals, it concerns me equally--and should concern us all, writ large--that President Trump has demonstrated a remarkable disdain for the already-born. And any regard he has for the things of God is coincidental to his own ambition.
It should by now be obvious that we cannot legislate morality because the true version of that attribute is solely a function of the Holy Spirit, the same Holy Spirit that is appears to be entirely absent in the life of President Trump.
Our hypocrisy is indeed one of the key reasons that our churches--many of them--seem to be dying. We have embraced conservative political ideologies even when those secular conservative ideologies are at odds with the message of the Bible.
Strange wording.Only a creature like you would say that.
His political position? Do you mean positionS?How do you square Trump lack of moral character with his political position?
No problem at all. He will be sending an important message by doing so --a very good message. His plans for a full scale military march in DC is OK with you?
What in the world are you talking about? What on earth does that have to do with the topic at hand?Is it any wonder why our youth are opting out of anything to do with the established Christian church? No consistency.
His brain power is considerably greater than yours. Your moral fiber is quite evident to all in these sort of posts that you have been in the habit of making for a decade here on the BB.it chose a loud mouth brainless, morally corrupt decoy as the leader of our nation...
How much of all of that was recent though, since becoming the president?
Sorry, he can’t even read briefs. His brain power is considerably greater than yours. Your moral fiber is quite evident to all in these sort of posts that you have been in the habit of making for a decade here on the BB.
And how about his taking instruction from Paula White? Now there is a credible source to model yourself after .Since he's become President, okay fair enough. He may or may not have--but probably did--disparage other countries, refused to denounce the nut job in Charlottesville and said that kneeling for the anthem should be prosecuted.
If he has gained salvation in the last 13 months, praise the Lord.
It's more likely that Franklin Graham's confirmation bias is affecting his vision.

You are the consummate name-caller, so you have no weight to make any judgements on that score. What do you support... his name calling?!? Really, I thought better of you.
Takes one to know oneYou are the consummate name-caller, so you have no weight to make any judgements on that score.
Would say that persons should stand when Anthem is played though, as many American of various Ethnic backgrounds died for this land, and the President DID indeed condemn the white supremacists, but also condemned the other agitators down there too!Since he's become President, okay fair enough. But I know what the First Amendment to the Constitution means. I have sworn to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all threats, foreign and domestic, and I have made that oath more than once, each time asking God to help me fulfill that oath.
Is it reasonable, under any circumstance, for the President of the United States to infringe upon the rights guaranteed by the document that undergirds his office?
As to you second point: it wasn't the other agitators in Charlottesville that took a life.
As a currently serving--but about to retire--soldier, it would be improper for me to comment any further on the Commander in Chief, but for the record, I am a Libertarian who voted against Barack Obama--TWICE, and believe that President Obama was NOT the worst POTUS ever. But he's on the list.
