Yeah I wasn't keen on the title of the latter Youtube videos - that was what the uplaoder named them and not the origianl title- but the videos into detail of the supposed Primitive Baptist theology. Does the videos fairly represent the Primitive Baptist Theology or are they taking the fringe groups beliefs?LOL…. Come on,Cultic Hyper Calvinist Doctrines of PB’s…..what a hit job. Go and interview actual PRIMITIVE BAPTISTS who are functioning Pastors vs these jokers. Honest to goodness, nobody should take this seriously.
Fringe…..like within the first 5 minutes they make the claim that PB’s consider other church communities that aren’t PB to be apostate….simply not true, they are trying to get you to put PB’s in an adversarial position to other faiths &practices. We have never done that rather we just have our own beliefs. This video was clearly done to gin up hatred against us as a Christian community.Yeah I wasn't keen on the title of the latter Youtube videos - that was what the uplaoder named them and not the origianl title- but the videos into detail of the supposed Primitive Baptist theology. I'm close to Primitive Baptist on many things, though for different reasons. Honestly, I'm more of a "hyper-Calvinist" than those guysLOL…. Well you would have to define just what Hyper Calvinism means to you….for example, I was myself accused of being a Hyper Calvinist by a fellow BB contributor that I know and have observed in his walk toward conversion a long time now. It was his concern that PB’s do not spread the gospel which is a complete fallacy…(in fact I’m encouraged (with support I might add) by the PB churches in spreading the gospel and reinvigorating Baptists in the NE United States.I'm close to Primitive Baptist on many things, though for different reasons. I think the correct usage of 'hyper-Calvinism' is denial of the duty to preach the gospel [to the unelect]. Some Primitive Baptist groups get close to that, but most of them do not.So what exactly do you mean that your more Hyper Calvinist, I’m interested in your reasoning if your so inclined to answer the question.
look, with all do respect, this fellow is not a PRIMITIVE BAPTIST so he doesn’t have first hand knowledge & he is just getting his information from the internet…and we know just how accurate that is don’t we. Then he confirms his ignorance by claiming we are full Predestination believers (wrong). .. I just had to exit his presentation because full displayed misreprentations. Sorry but should you find a good representation then by all means, put it up there & we will discuss it.Start 1:50 - a Discussion about the the difference between Primitive Baptists and Reformed Baptists
yes but personally I don’t quote any of them. I will quote scripture however….all else pales in comparison to Christ. Again just my own opinion.Primitive Baptists who say they're not Calvinists sure do read a lot of Calvinists.
Just listing the obvious: John Bunyan, John Gill, Benjamin Keach, John Owen, J. C. Philpot, Arthur W. Pink, Charles Spurgeon.
No problem, I rather you say that a video isn't accurately representing the position, so I know. Is there any material/videos that do accurately demonstarte the the Primitive Baptist theology? @ParticularWife posted a video on PB - is that accurate to PB theology? Here is an example of Family Integrated P B worship (a grandson assists Grandpa in a hymn)

No, neither of those guys are PB’s….. look, I wouldn’t presume to make commentary on a Reformed, a Presbyterian, a Particular Baptist etc….anything I’m not included it without having experienced them first hand….and the reason I’m not formally aPB is I don’t live in the south because my wife is currently being treated for her stage 4 cancer in the hospitals here in the East…however I have over 10 full years of studying PB theology and speak to PB pastors and elders almost every day. Why would they want to help plant churches up north here and agree to help me identify churches here who need the help if I were not in there good graces? But of course I’m not an elder so the full development of a PB church would need their management and expertise, which they are willing to do.No problem, I rather you say that a video isn't accurately representing the position, so I know.
