Yes, it can. But the U.S. Constitution gives that authority to Congress. And that was what was going on until the Trumpaholics stopped the proceedings by acting like Democrats. The electoral certificates would be read. Members would challenge or accept the certificates. And then Congress would discuss the issue and either accept or reject the certificates. IF they accept the certificates then Biden becomes President-elect and will be President. If not, then it goes to debates and votes.

My point is that the Constitution IS equipped to handle the issue. BUT the GOP knows that they do not control Congress so it will not go their way. Therefore they want to trash the Constitution.

They lost the election.
They lost the legal challenges.
They will loose in Congress.
The U.S. Constitution is agains them.

So they are having a trumpertantrum. But they are too few. All they will do is close the books on the GOP.

I agree. We see this with the idiots storming the Capital (at least the Trump administration has come out and condemned the activity, I guess).

It is also lies that has caused "Christians" to support the racism and bigotry of the Democrat Party.

I think it is always this way. People choose the lies they will believe. So the issue becomes, who is to blame? If someone supports the GOP believing they will end abortion are they wrong or are they simply ignorant? If someone supports the DNC believing they are interested in social justice when they are typically the racists and bigots, are they wrong or are they simply ignorant? The problem is larger than the people.

He isn't. Prior to the election Trump was active in supporting minorities (especially the Black community). He was praised by the Black community for decades (this is probably why he thought he would receive the "Black vote". Afterwards he continued supporting minorities, but he became Republican. The DNC has created a narrative and men like RobustTheologian are simply trapped in that narrative so they provide a context to his statements that do not exist. The GOP does the same thing.

In the end we see a lot of Black Democrats unwilling to leave the Plantation (the DNC) and a lot of White Republicans not willing to acknowledge their part in driving them to the slavers.

They really are the same. It's all about power.
