California high school teacher is said to had bragged about turning his students into “revolutionaries.” An undercover Project Veritas video released on Tuesday, showed Inderkum High School’s Gabriel Gipe admitting that he and a growing number of teachers use the classroom to push communist propaganda.

The AP government teacher explained when he’s not disrupting conservative events with his local Sacramento Antifa Chapter, he grades students based off their willingness to attend radical fringe events.

After shaming teenagers who don’t follow his political views, the so-called anti-fascist went on to praise the Chinese Cultural Revolution. He then explained how he tracks his student’s political views.

Says volumes about school systems administrators. They dont filter out radical teachers unless confronted publicly.
Obvious conclusion is they like the things those teachers teach to kids.

Another story recently about a teacher telling kids to salute, pledge allegiance to the LGBTQ+ (anything goes sex) flag, She removed the Flag of the United States from her classroom as it makes her uncomfortable.

Project Veritas?

From wikipedia:

Project Veritas is an American far-right[36] activist group founded by James O'Keefe in 2010.[40] The group produces deceptively edited videos[24] of its undercover operations,[16] which use secret recordings[17] in an effort to discredit mainstream media organizations and progressive groups.[48][49] Project Veritas also uses entrapment[23] to generate bad publicity for its targets,[2] and has propagated disinformation[14] and conspiracy theories[56] in its videos and operations.

I am not denying the story is true but, if it is indeed true, why not appeal to a source that has more cred than Project Veritas?

This headline so distorts the reality of what happens that it is, for all practical purposes, a lie. Here is what actually happened:

That’s the story. Not that Pitzen’s students actually pledged allegiance to the Pride flag, but that she joked about it being the only flag in the classroom. As you can imagine, that small yet important detail didn’t stop conservatives on social media from losing their minds, and a backlash ensued

Let's say the story about saluting the pride banner were true (it is a gross distortion if you dive into the details). So what?

Obviously it is easy to find loons on all sides of all issues. Such anecdotes are really means by which the truth is bent and distorted, whether the anecdote comes from the left or the right. What really matters, of course, is whether certain undesirable beliefs and behaviors can be shown to have gained some traction in society as a whole.

Perhaps this is how you show “undesirable beliefs and behaviors… have gained traction in society…”

A public school classroom doesn’t have an American flag because it made the teacher uncomfortable but does have a gay pride flag.

Couple these stories with the teachers union promising to push critical race theory, and it seems to indicate undesirable beliefs are gaining traction in our public schools.

peace to you

Not by a single anecdote! It is widely agreed that "argument by anecdote" is not a valid way to argue a case. My grandfather smoked like a bandit for 70 years and lived to be 90. Does that prove smoking does not damage health?

Getting the actual facts straight here matters. I will re-iterate: there is systematic distortion and misrepresentation from the American right these days.

Find out what actually happened - you will discover that other posters are misleading you.

This is a rather vague, unsubstantiated claim. What, precisely is your concern and on what credible evidence are you drawing?

It’s not a single antidote. How many stories will convince you undesirable beliefs are gaining traction in society?

Maybe if the President signs an executive order stating mentally ill men who think they are women can share bathrooms and locker rooms with our wives and daughters and compete against women in sports etc,,, will that convince you?

Concerning the story about the teacher, what fact did I get wrong? Did she remove the American flag from her room? Did she have a gay pride flag in her room? When a student ask her about pledging allegiance to the flag, did she direct that student to the gay pride flag?

Concerning the teaching of CRT in our schools, you must have missed the President of the teachers union promising legal defense for all teachers who ignore state laws banning CRT in classrooms.

There is plenty of substantiated evidence that undesirable beliefs are gaining traction in this country, especially in our public schools.

peace to you
