Psalm 5:5b vs. John 3:16

Please explain Psalm 5:5b ("Thou (God) hatest all workers of iniquity") in the light of John 3:16 ("For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Your answer is found in the Psalms themselves, as well as the Proverbs...

" The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright." ( Psalms 11:5-7 ).

" The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
9 The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness." ( Proverbs 15:8-9 ).

He hates the wicked, and He loves the righteous.
He hates the worker of iniquity, and He loves the worker of righteousness.

If you read John 17, clearly at least four times (John 17:2, 6, 9 and 24) Jesus declares that the Father has given individuals to Him. But "a people" is not found anywhere in the chapter.

" as thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him." ( John 17:2 ).

Not once in John 17 did it say "God gave to Christ a people to redeem!" Not once. Full stop.

" as thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do." ( John 17:2-4 ).

What was that work?
" I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." ( John 10:11 ).

Thus those individuals were not chosen before creation, but only after they lived as "not a people."

" Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved." ( Ephesians 1:3-6 ).

" For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." ( Ephesians 2:10 ).

World = the new heavens and earth too. It will be a saved world. God hates sinners and their sins. (lots of proof if needed).

Yet another long post, none of it germane. This is how Calvinists attempt to bury truth.
Was the fact God gave individuals to Christ an issue? Nope
Was the fact Jesus completed the work given Him to do "on earth" in dispute? Nope
Was the fact Jesus gave His life for all humanity disputed by me? Nope
Was the fact we were chosen corporately before humanity's fall an issue? Nope
Was the fact that everyone who has been placed into Christ is then predestined to having his or her body redeemed an issue? Nope
Was the fact that only after being "in the beloved" are we made righteous and acceptable in dispute? Nope
Was the fact that we are born anew, a new creation in Christ Jesus in dispute? Nope

So this long post is non-germane as usual!!!

Romans 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Romans 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
