Your answer is found in the Psalms themselves, as well as the Proverbs...Please explain Psalm 5:5b ("Thou (God) hatest all workers of iniquity") in the light of John 3:16 ("For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
" The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright." ( Psalms 11:5-7 ).
" The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
9 The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness." ( Proverbs 15:8-9 ).
He hates the wicked, and He loves the righteous.
He hates the worker of iniquity, and He loves the worker of righteousness.
