Psalms and Proverbs Reading / Praying Schedule

Hey all there’s not a good forum category for where to put this since I am part of more of a Bible church than a Baptist Church so I can’t put it in one of the Baptist categories where it might fit better.

This is a biannual reading and prayer schedule that goes through psalms and proverbs twice in a year. You can print this and leave it in your Bible so in the mornings if you need some help getting started on where to go to help you pray it can give you some direction and if you miss a day, you’ve got something to reference to pick up on based on the date.

The second page has a more academic breakdown of the Psalms.

This took a bit for me to put together, but I hope you can put it to good use. Feel free to share it with whoever you want. This is a free resource and I commit it to the public domain.

If any moderate thinks there would be a better place to put this please feel free… i guess I did drop this in the debate “Other” forum… so perhaps not the best place.

Excellent! Thanks for posting this.

I made a retreat at an Anglican monastery some years back. They followed 'The Daily Office' based on The Lectionary of The Book of Common Prayer. In the course of a month they 'prayed the entire Psalter' twice and most of the Bible was read through in a two year cycle.

You’re welcome! I was inspired off a book. I read, called words of wisdom. The reading plan was five psalms a day and one proverb a day and you’d get through all of psalms and proverbs in a month. I found that way too much!

My thought process was that if you miss a day, now you have a calendar, you can look at and just keep going.

I found it when I try to read through the psalms if I miss a day, I seem to end up restarting at Psalm one and never getting through all of them!
