The source of the article in the OP was the Special Edition Christmas newsletter for the public high school I attended, and was authored by me (From the Editor's Desk)--December, 1966.
There was no inclusion of any other religion in the Newsletter, but there were some secular items about Christmas, Santa, etc. It was distributed to all faculty and all high school students.
