Putting RFK Jr. in charge of health breaks the first rule of medicine

"He told us with full conviction that all America’s chronic health problems began in one year in the 1980s when a dozen bad things happened.

Convincing to the gullible conspiracy-hungry crowd on Twitter, but not to the rest of us.

In fact, we came out thinking he’s nuts on a lot of fronts.
...
We fear the worm that he claims ate some of his brain some years ago is contagious and there’s been an outbreak at Mar-a-Lago.

With the following quote from link, takes this whole thread sideways:

'The overriding rule of medicine is: First, do no harm.'

About 70 years ago, the U.S. govern got involved in public school lunches. They emphasized the “food Pyramid” with lots of starch as a base and less protein at the top.

At about the same time, big farm groups started providing school lunches, using the pyramid.

Today, 2/3 of Americans are overweight or obese. Chronic diseases that result from this fat epidemic fuel hundreds of billions of dollars in health care cost, medicines to treat the diseases, surgeries, home health care for folks too fat for basic hygiene.

I hope RFK, jr exposes it all and makes real changes that will benefit future generations.

Expect every group sucking billions from taxpayers with the current system to use every smear to undermine the effort.

peace to you

How about RFK Jr. and Donald Trump leave folks alone and let them make their own food and beverage choices? MAGA and Progressives need the leave the rest of us alone.

You haven’t been paying much attention, have you? The Fed Gov is in everything. Make no mistake, all the regulations are written by lobbiest from competing interests with the goal of pouring taxpayer money to political supporters. Look at the tens of billions going to “green new deal”. Seen any progress yet. I just saw a story where the Pentagon cannot account for over $850 BILLION. Do you really believe they don’t know who got the money?

DT and RFK, Jr can’t leave you alone. Everything is connected. The good news is, you will benefit from the policies just like everyone else.

They are trying to expose the waste, fraud, abuse.

Give them a chance

peace to you

Yes, they can. All they have to do is base their policies on this:

"The state therefore has two natural functions, functions essential to the existence of any peaceful, ordered society: to protect the rights of citizens against violent or fraudulent assault, and to judge in conflicts of right with right. It has a further third function, which is another aspect of the first, that is, to protect its citizens from assault by foreign powers. These three functions are expressed by three powers: the police power, which protects the citizen against domestic violence; the military power, which protects the citizen against violence from abroad; and the courts of law, which judge between rights and rights, as well as sharing with the police power the protection of the citizen against domestic violence.

But since this institution must possess a monopoly of legal physical force, to give to it in addition any further power is fraught with danger; that monopoly gives to the state so much power that its natural functions should be its maximum functions."

Brother, before that can be done, the massive deep state must be dismantled. That is what they are attempting to do.

As I said, you will benefit from their efforts like everyone else. You don’t have to support it, or even give them credit when it happens, but you will benefit if they are successful.

Peace to you

As I said, you will benefit from their efforts like everyone else.

And you will you suffer from their efforts like everyone else.

You folks expecting it to be all unicorns and rainbows come noon eastern time, on January 20, 2025, might be getting minotaurs and hurricanes instead.

MY GUESS: Kennedy is an arranged distraction, a red herring, planned as a pre-inauguration diversion, freeing other nominees temporarily from media coverage.
Then, once Trump is installed as President and as the swamp is beginning to be drained, there will be insider stories of corruption and incompetence aimed at them.
I'm sure those stories have already been concocted by operatives entrenched in the current ingrown government bureaucracies.

Once they are kicked out of the bureaucracy they will flee to the media.
If Trump plays it right, he will offer those kicked out a long-term severance package conditioned on their not working for the media.

You Trumper supporters are going to be so very disappointed when your political dreams turn into political nightmares.

Oh well. I've done what I can to temper your expectations when you place your trust and hope in a mere man.

Ken, the Lord has used mere men in the past: he can probably even use a rascal like Donald Trump.

However, we can trust in God and hope the men God placed in positions of power over us will execute plans which we believe will help us all.
My expectations are rather low.

In any case, we live in the world God has ordained for us and each of us can still strive towards being found in the likeness of his Son.

Absolutely. I do not place my hopes and aspirations in this horrible, sin-infested earth with all of its sin-infested people, especially my own sin-infested self.
