Ray,

Have premills ever dealt with why God would bound Satan and then let him loose a second time?

Yes. But that would be out of place in this forum. Try up the page a bit in the baptist discussions.

Ken Hamilton,

Satan will be bound for the 1,000 years and then released for a season. The only reason why this will take place is because it is in the sovereign plan of Almighty God. I personally, don't know why He has it planned this way.

I agree with Pastor Larry. There is a place in which the millennium fits in the context of what is being said about Eph.'s question, but we don't want this to become a discussion about the millennium. We can do that elsewhere.

RAY,

Do you feel there are any other verses/statements in the book of Hebrews that support the idea of a third covenant? If so, could you post which ones you think they are?

rivaughn,

Thanks for your good question. I wasn't ignoring your post only trying to think of another place in Hebrews where the author speaks of a covenant beyond the Old and New one. I can't think of any at the moment.

In Hebrews 8:8-12 the author is telling us of a future time. The reason why I say this is a fact is because no one in our generation could even begin to think that the people he is talking about are people of today. Considering the world population the majority of human beings do not know Jesus personally, as we do.

The House of Israel and the House of Judah is clearly a restored Israelite people who all will know the Lord. ' . . . for all shall know Me, form the least to the greatest.' This will take place in the Millinimum yet in the future.

God speaking through Ezekiel in his message indicates this exact time yet in human history. "The Valley of Dry Bones" [Ezekiel 37] is a portrait of a spiritually restored Israelite people. The Spirit will be in them [Ezekiel 37:14] and they will live in their own land securely [vs. 14c]. Christ will be 'the one King' [vs. 22]. 'David my servant' I believe is used indicating that Christ will rule the people in peace. [vs. 24a & 26] A Millennial Temple will by then be in Jerusalem as indicated in verse 26 and also in Zechariah 14:16-17.

I guess I went beyond answering your question.
