Maybe the forum could hold a sale and more women will come? "Fire sale! 100 % OFF!! Get saved from Hell Today !!!"

Just kidding.

That's pretty cute and you are new here but tread lightly around the women on here... I can tell you being here as long as I have, there will be a fire sale alright and YOU will be the kindling and I'm not kidding... Brother Glen:)

Well, I wouldn't want to tread on them heavily either.;)

Women setting men on fire for the Lord!!! Brings a whole new meaning there.:Laugh

Seriously though, I think Christian women can have a sense of humor in regards to my dead pan puns. If they suffer a wrong for whatever the reason, they can always correct me in Christ's love of what may be an inappropriate pun, providing the moderator doesn't beat them to it first.

But thanks for the heads up, brother.

I do wonder though if that advertisement posted in pun might just be one of the means that the Father may use in drawing sinners into the forum? Course, I do not know how a forum such as this can advertise for this forum elsewise on the internet anyway, so my silly suggestion posted in pun probably is rather moot in and of itself anyway.

Awww - Thanks for thinking about me! Life has been so crazy for me and honestly, other than hopping on Facebook, I've not had time to hang out online like I used to! I'm now working at a local intermediate school (3rd through 5th grades) as the reception aid - the person who buzzes you in the building, checking your ID and directing you to someplace if you need to get into the rest of the building or else stopping you where you are. I work closely with security. Plus I've been taking care of horses at three barns (total of 6 horses, 1 pony, 1 miniature horse, 1 farm hog, 5 potbelly pigs, 2 goats, 3 sheep, 50 chickens, 8 cats and often a few dogs). I'm also taking care of my dad's house since he's 92 and while he has my 58 year old brother living with him, my brother does nothing other than add more mess (has an ancient dog that pees on everything). So I go over a few times a week to cook and clean over there and then of course I have my 10 hours a week at church. My own time has been scarce and now we are selling our boat as well so it is a mad rush to finish projects on her to get her in sale condition. Seriously - I'm exhausted! Church is going pretty well with our little campus and I think just possibly we might survive, thank God! My 2nd born daughter got married in June (at my house so that was a job in and of itself) and my son graduated from high school. How does life get so crazy when the kids get bigger??

I will definitely try to get back here and hang out a bit. Thanks again for asking about me and for those who posted to me on Facebook. I appreciate it!

Just saw this thread.

Annsni, I hope that you are selling your boat only because you want to and not from necessity. If memory serves me correctly, you and your husband really enjoyed it.

Yep - we want to make room for the new boat! We are going to a trawler which will have us traveling at the same speed but with much more comfort. We never sail when we cruise on the boat anyway (20 days on the boat this year and sailed one day of that whole time) so why not be more comfortable? We weren't planning on making the jump yet but a great boat came on the market and so we decided it is time. Fortunately hubby picked up a very lucrative side gig doing software engineering and now we have gone from really struggling to being comfortable again. :) So it is time to move up!

It sounds like you are a very busy woman - especially if you are the school receptionist [who has a much bigger job than people know]. Good to hear from you.
