Questioning Ones Salvation

If one does not repent (turn from one's sins) - Luke 13:3-5, if one does not confess - Romans 10:9,10, if one does not call on the name of the Lord - Romans 10:13; does that one truly believe?

I agree also, especially with your definition of repent

I think we would all agree that without faith in Christ salvation is impossible.

But we can get on a slippery slope in terms of analyzing the beliefs of others. An example would be the Calvinist believer questioning the salvation of a Wesleyan, saying that he believes that he (by his action of believing) can save himself.

It's been my experience that those who do the most questioning of other believers' salvation are the ones who are most legalistic (e.g. fairly far from Jesus' gospel).
