Questions for progressives theological liberals

Among the false teachers in my area the progressives are the largest group. Yes more so than the cults, charismatics, and Wiccans combined. I have noticed that the false teachers respond more easily to questions in an email over a preaching letter and a gospel tract sent in the mail. So I am trying to think of good questions. What should I say? If I ask the good person test in a email it will get ignored so I need to be more creative. Anyone have any ideas? Remember I cannot attack them in my initial questions just need creativity. Not interested in questions over secondary issues as the progressives deny the essentials of the faith. Thanks.

Can you give some examples of "the progressives?"

So I am trying to think of good questions. What should I say? If I ask the good person test in a email it will get ignored so I need to be more creative. Anyone have any ideas?
Why don't you try to make personal contact and build a relationship instead of sending unsolicited e-mail? I bet that would be much more effective.

Remember I cannot attack them in my initial questions just need creativity.
So the questions are just the prelude to an eventual "attack"? Why in the world would you want to attack someone you are trying to introduce to Jesus?

Not interested in questions over secondary issues as the progressives deny the essentials of the faith.
What are these "essentials of the faith" to which you refer? What does that phrase mean to you?

Since I am going to quiz you, I will give you my essentials:

  • The inspiration of scripture
  • The Triune nature of God
  • The deity and eternal Lordship of Jesus, the Christ
  • The atoning work of Jesus on the cross as a historical event
  • The physical bodily resurrection of Jesus and the promise of resurrection into eternal life for all who are in Christ
  • The necessity of personally entering into and abiding in the Kingdom of God through Jesus
  • The return of Christ, the redemption of the world as heaven and earth are reunited, and the ultimate destruction of evildoers.
