Winston dearest... When are you going to give up those horrid cigars... Brother Glen:Biggrin

But his Mother actually said and did this... When Churchill was just 15 his Mother implored him to give up the habit, even writing in a letter, “If you knew how foolish & how silly you look doing it you would give it up, at least for a few years.”... He did for six months and then went back to it.

He smoked like 20 cigars a day, along with copious amounts of brandy, wine, and other spirits. And by the way, he lived to age 90 without any major diseases like cancer or cirrhosis of the liver.
