"Bolten Street Baptist Church allowing only black reporters to attend a meeting on Savannah's mayoral race....White reporters were denied entry, while at least two black reporters and the publisher of a local African-American newspaper were allowed inside, the Savannah Morning News reported....The newspaper said the Rev. Clarence Teddy Williams, who organized the meeting, declined to discuss the entry policy."

Not really. Many of the black churches around Georgia are very racist and don't attempt to hide it.

Candidate apologizes for attending 'Black Press Only' event

"SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — A mayoral candidate in Georgia is apologizing for attending an event that barred reporters unless they were African-American. Savannah city councilman Van Johnson told reporters Friday: "I know in this case I did offend. And today I apologize for my actions.'"

Kudos to candidate Regina Thomas who refused to attend in the first place. She gave her Wednesday evening to the Lord, rather than to political wheeling and dealing:
