Republican voters overwhelmingly approve of President Donald Trump temporarily halting the importation of refugees, even after a media firestorm falsely labeled it a “Muslim ban.”

Rasmussen Reports filtered out media hysteria and asked likely voters: “The federal government has banned refugees from all countries from entering the United States for the next four months until there is a better system in place to keep out individuals who are terrorist threats. Do you favor or oppose such a ban?” A majority, 52 percent, favored the move, while 43 percent opposed it, and six percent were unsure.

Treating enemies good comes from the Old Testament. If your enemy is thirsty.... (you know the rest). And God had no problem with walls in the Old Testament or the New. Anyone with a house who locks his door is pro-wall.

The gospel is not about tearing down walls so your family is exposed, but rather going out from your walls and preaching the good news. We go to them. Tearing down the walls of your house won't further the gospel, but it will show hatred to your family.

No one is arguing some of the points you write about. However, if we treated everyone well we would have no or almost no enemies.

By the way, I thought about locing doors after your post ... and mine. Locking a door may not denote fear it simply may be prudent. You are probably too young to remember the ads on the raido that said, lock your car doors. Help keep a good boy from going bad. I do not remember that ever being on TV. It may be that it aired before most people had TVs.

Too many politicians and others whip up peoples fears that really are quite foundless and that robs them of a life of happiness if they fall for the disinformation. You are much more likely to be hurt or killed on a highway than by an Islamist terrorist. You are more likely to be hurt or die from fall out of bed than be killed by a terrorist. Indeed, you are more likely to be killed by lightning than by a terrorist.

Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

The second amendment allows me the right to defend my family as well.
