Of course - the non-Catholic knows from the Bible - there is only one Gospel - there is only one way of salvation - and that is the New Covenant.

    Bob,

There is only one way to Heaven: Jesus Christ. Thank you for demonstrating that (and yes, that's all you demonstrated, and that is not in conflict with Catholic theology).

Unless you believe that aborted babies or young children who have not yet "accepted the Lord" go to hell, you also believe in an extraordinary means of salvation, that is, being saved by the blood of Jesus Christ even though there has been no personal acceptance of that sacrifice.

    Your point is moot.

As was already pointed out - the RC response did not limit itself to "Aborted babies" but to all non-Catholics.

As was pointed out - there is only ONE Gospel solution and that is the New Covenant. EVEN the RC document above admits that in the Bible this IS the way the solution is presented.

As was pointed out - non-Catholics ALSO agree that the New Covenant IS the gospel and IS the one and only way of salvation.

For non-Catholics - the Catholic Mass has nothing at all to do with the New Covenant - it is simply as the RC document "The Faith Explained" says that it "must be" to non-Catholics - a pure form of idolatry worshipping bread - not God.

To the non-Catholic the New Covenant text - the one that spells out the covenant is given in Hebrews 8 as a quote of the Old Testment promise that the New Covenant IS.

Christ's statement that "this is the new testament in My blood" speaking of His sacrifice (done ONCE for all and offered ONCE for all as Hebrews 10 says) is the sacrifice PART of the New Covenant.

    In Christ,

    Bob

    Bob,

You clasically ignore my point. Point taken.

See the "details" in that previous post?

The "assumption" you are making is that there are those saved outside of the New Covenant. But if you read that post - you find that the Bible view is that the New Covenant is covering ALL those situations - because it is the ONE and the ONLY Gospel solution. There are not zillions - only one.

    In Christ,

    Bob
