France: Jerusalem Neighborhood No Obstacle to Peace
(IsraelNN.com) French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said on Wednesday that the new construction starts in Jerusalem's Jewish neighborhoods are not an obstacle to peace.

Earlier this week, the Jerusalem District Planning and Building Committee authorized the construction of 900 new housing units in Gilo. The Jerusalem neighborhood is located in the southeastern section of the capital.

… The position taken by Kouchner regarding the Gilo housing project is in opposition to that of the United States. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and U.S. State Department spokesman Ian Kelly had both earlier expressed the U.S. Administration's view that "these actions make it more difficult" to restart Israel-PA negotiations. Like the U.S., Saudi Arabia also called Jewish housing in Jerusalem a "major obstacle in the way of the peace process."

There is one single obstacle to peace over there and it is the existence of Israel. Every attempt to gain peace is a non starter.

AMEN!!

And the more we (as a nation) attempt to give away that which God gave to Abraham et al, the more screwed up this nation will become.

Needless to say, we are well on that corkscrew path already; and accelerating.

I say let's get that peace accord going! the sooner it materializes, the sooner I'm outta here! :wavey:

This is, of course, a somewhat simplistic approach to the issue... :flower:

Somebody needs to tell the palestinians to get over it and shut up. They have no "homeland" because it was given by God to Israel way back when. The Jews survived for centuries without a homeland, so they can too.

Besides, just all the other Muslims, they want to carve up Israel. They want half of Jerusalem as their capital. No way, Jose, get over it. The Dome of the Rock is already there and that is way too much. Hmmm... that golden dome ought to be a good target for a bunker-buster...

It isn't about any homeland. It's about the satanic religion of islam fighting against anything God is doing in the earth.
