Reality of Obama Care

We have been trying to sign up my daughter for Obamacare and for over two weeks now no success. We have been directed by the healthcare website numerous times to check back in 24 hours because the system is temporarily down. We tried the online chat and they said our only recourse was to call the 1-800 number. We called the 1-800 number and they said she could have them send her a paper application but that takes 6 months to process. They could not sign her up on the phone. Isn't this so nice. If Sabellius isn't fired then Obama need to be tarred and feathered and run out of Washington.

The only entities that are exempt are the unions, because they complained that some surcharge was going to kick in if they had to sign up, so the Great Pretender illegally "amended" the law without Congressional approval to exempt them. When is someone going to file impeachment proceedings against this yahoo?

Rick, on the positive side, HOW 'BOUT THEM TIGERS?

I have a friend retiring at the end of this month. Her insurance premiums are actually going to be $50 a month less under Obamacare.

I watched a few plays today. They look great. Amazing how different a team can be from a year prior. DO you think they can beat Bama?

These are the kind of answers you get from Obama worshipers. They are clueless as to the reality of the train wreck that is being forced on the average citizen.

Would you have me lie about her premiums? It is simply for her, she will pay less.

Frankly you and I do not know enough to make such pronouncements as you made in the reply. It may be a train wreck or it may be a success. Time will tell and I have no real idea which ... and neither do you.

I am coming to feel that perhaps the major reason the Tea Party and Republicans are so anti-Obamacare is they know or fear it may be a success and make them look bad and Obama good. Time will tell.

That defense of Mizzou's is tough. That's how they win games -- keeping the ball away from the other team. Florida only had 151 yards of offense yesterday. It will/would be a good game, if they get to play, but I honestly can't say I'm confident they'd beat the Tide. If/when they play, I won't have fingernails left. LOL

You may "not know enough" to make such a call, but the rest of us do. It's a freakin' disaster! And will continue to be.

What is your proof? I would really like to know. And, as proof, please do not give me a link to a biased report, like Fox News or a right wing Republican organization.

My guess is that you are simply mouthing Republican/Tea Party lines and have no more idea of what really will happen than I do.

Give me one to a neutral report. Thanks in advance.

The evidence has been in for quite awhile;haven't you bothered to look? When well-known liberal columnists start to rip up the so-called ACA will your common sense return?

Now the above is truly silly. Do you honestly think that folks,(most of whom are not elected officials),have been so aghast with Obamacare --because they fear the latter will be a success? Come on now. Premium reductions will be the exception --not the general rule. Many folks will not be able to retain their doctors that they trust despite the words of Obama prior to this "budget-busting behometh that is Obamacare." (Larry Kudlow)

You are not being objective about this at all. But time will tell. Where did I hear that before? :)

As opposed to an "unbiased" left-wing outlet like ABC, CBS or CNN? Pul-leeze!! Spare me.

If you don't know what will happen either, what makes you think the predictions of disaster are wrong? Also, all the evidence we need that it is, in fact, a "disaster" is the first month of the ACA website being online.

Here's The Washington Post. "Unbiased" enough for you?

So far, the Affordable Care Act's launch has been a failure. Not "troubled." Not "glitchy." A failure. But "so far" only encompasses 14 days. The hard question is whether the launch will still be floundering on day 30, and on day 45.
And the answer is ... wait and see, but more than likely, yes, it will still be floundering on day 30, day 45, day 180 day 310, day 550 ... when, mercifully, it will be repealed by a Republican controlled House and Senate which will then override the Great Pretender's veto.
