And how much ground water will be poisoned to turn it into gasoline? Cost per bbl?

Doesn't matter. The mercury from those new light bulbs we are all supposed to buy to save the planet once the incandescent light bulb ban goes fully into effect, once those new bulbs are broken in landfills, the mercury will pollute the ground water anyway so we will all get mercury poisoning.

Yep, just so we can have our cheap gas no matter what it cost future generations. We will all be dead then so it won't matter to us how badly they have to live.

They will have to live badly because of trillions of dollars of debt our "leaders" have put us into. Doesn't have anything to do with cheap gas. And gas isn't cheap lately anyway but would be a whole lot cheaper if had an administration that didn't want us to rely on muslim oil.

If you factor in inflation it is now cheaper then when I was a young fellow paying .25 cents a gallon. Back when I made $3500.00 a year and that was considered a good wage.

Yes, and I remember when a roll of Neccos candy was 5 cents and flavored wax lips were a penny. And there was a 5&10 that sold Evening in Paris perfume for a quarter.

Fact:
Gas prices since Obama took office have risen by 103.79 percent. No other presidents in recent years have struggled as much with soaring oil prices. Under the Reagan administration, gas prices actually dropped 66 percent.

Let's see, today I paid $3.56 a gallon. That means, if your quote is accurate that gas in 2008 was $1.78 a gallon. I may be wrong but I do not remember it being that low. Maybe your source is incorrect. A link to the actual article would be nice.

Actually it was over $2.00 ... your article is wrong.

Poison the ground water. Destroy the land. Yep, no cost to the future.

And yet you drive a car and use gas yourself.

Why do you not care about the land or the groundwater?

Why do you want to poison the environment?

Why don't you care about how future generations will have to live because of your selfishness?

Mercy durn, Targus, you sound(?) just like Crabby with your "Why do you----?" questions!!;)

(Hoping against hope that he, Crabby, will see the stupidity/absurdity of asking such questions - like a tape in "loop" mode. Ain't holding my breath though.)
