Recovering from covid gives immunity equal to the vaccine

Coronavirus infection leads to immunity that's comparable to a COVID-19 vaccine
For you LEFTies on the forum, this is from one of your mainstream LEFTy websites, so I am more confident you will pay attention.

NO NEED to vaccinate people who had covid. So why waste it on those people when people who want to be vaccinated cant be vaccinated due to shortages. They should listen to the science, not the opinions of politicians .

Then, I have had a doctor tell me getting covid and getting better, you still must be vaccinated as the vaccine gives better immunity and why risk other people's lives...BUT that flies against common sense and now the evidence as well.

Also they have been thinking just 1 shot is good enough for the vaccine that requires 2.
And the J&J vaccine has gotten approved, the only one I would be willing to get. Not needing to be frozen, 1 shot, no mRNA, conventional kind of vaccine.

My Anthem health care plan pays for a free covid antibody test, next time I go to a doctor visit (5 months) will ask for it.

I wonder how this works going forward. Is it like the flu, where the virus changes and a new vaccines are always needed?

Virology 101.

But then how could Fauci make his billions?
Just a note that I spell Fauci with a swastika substituted for the F, but it keeps getting edited. I get it. I still want the reader to imagine, though.

Maybe so, but people will have some immunity even if it modifies itself. It wont be a new virus anymore. Your immune system will be more adaptable to a pathogen type it already has dealt with.

Another possibility is, the virus will kill off all those more genetically susceptible to it, leaving a population of survivors whose immune systems can more readily adapt. Kinda like when Europeans came to the New World. At first the natives had no resistance to European diseases that still made Europeans sick, but not necessarily dead. Those diseases wiped out 90% plus of some tribes. I read settlers stories of moving into new areas where every single person of a tribe was killed.
