Charles Haddon Spurgeon December 28, 1856, Revelation 14:1-3, New Park Street Pulpit Volume 3
“I do abhor from my heart that continual whining of some men about their own little church as the "remnant"—the "few that are to be saved." They are always dwelling upon strait gates and narrow ways, and upon what they conceive to be a truth, that but few shall enter heaven. Why, my friends, I believe there will be more in heaven than in hell. If you ask me why I think so, I answer, because Christ, in everything, is to "have the pre-eminence," and I cannot conceive how he could have the pre-eminence if there are to be more in the dominions of Satan than in paradise. Moreover, it is said there is to be a multitude that no man can number in heaven; I have never read that there is to be a multitude that no man can number in hell. But I rejoice to know that the souls of all infants, as soon as they die, speed their way to paradise. Think what a multitude there is of them! And then there are the just, and the redeemed of all nations and kindreds up till now; and there are better times coming, when the religion of Christ shall be universal”
Spurgeon's remarks on infants who die are very interesting, and do agree with what the Bible teaches on this, "But I rejoice to know that the souls of all infants, as soon as they die, speed their way to paradise". ALL infants, not just the "elect infants" that some twist the Bible to teach!

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few”
Luke 13:23-24
“Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able”
Here we have human theology, and the Infallible Word of Almighty God, and the Word of The Lord Jesus Christ Himself. As we can see from the “Reformed” perspective, they speculate, with NO Biblical evidence, that at the end time, the “great majority of the human race”, will be saved, with means that the “greater minority”, will be lost in heaven! As is very clear from what Jesus Himself says, it is the complete opposite to these theologians say, that the “majority” of the human race will be lost and sadly end up in hell.
In Luke’s Gospel Jesus says, “many…will not be able to”, enter through the “Narrow Gate”, that leads to eternal life. The Greek here is “οτι πολλοι”, in the plural number, and with the article, which denotes “the greater number”, and never used for “the fewer”. See the question asked of Jesus, “Lord, are there few (ὀλίγος, small in number) who are saved?”. To which Jesus very clearly replies. The comparison is clear here, “few…majority”. The same is in Matthew’s Gospel, where we see that the “greater number” will not be among the saved.
Again, the Reformed misrepresent what the Bible actually does Teach, as they do also on other Doctrines, like “election” and the “extent of Jesus’ Death”!
